📢 IPEC’s Response to the National Procurement Policy Statement Consultation
Last week IPEC shared its response to the National Procurement Policy Statement (NPPS) consultation outlining key recommendations to drive mission-driven procurement that delivers innovation, value for money, and social impact.
💡 Key recommendations:
1️⃣ Value for Money:
Mission-driven procurement should actively seek new and better ways of solving problems and engage with the market signalling openness to innovation before procurement begins.
2️⃣ Social Value:
Public procurement can drive job creation, local growth, and net-zero goals. Better data and case studies are needed to replicate success and deliver these goals.
